Wicked Awesome
Actually doing appropriate math and gauge swatching is fun! Last night I cast off the body of Wicked with much excitement, and tried it on to find that I finally made a sweater that matches my exact measurement specifications!
It fits perfectly - not too loose, not too tight, it goes in where I go in and comes out where I come out, and the length is just right and the neck not wide, and even the arm holes are exactly the right size. The only problem of course is that it is 95 degrees, and thus even when I finish the sleeves this sweater won't be wearable for months! I'm working on them anyway, and maybe when it's done I'll take a lot of trips to overly air-conditioned restaurants or something.
